USER GUIDE

OVERVIEW

  • Some Neelix components are designed to be capable of aggregating issues from multiple sources - Approach Grid, Deep Dive inspection report, and Retro actions

  • Currently supported channels are Jira and Github

  • Provider presets are configured as a library of specific issue scopes

  • NB: It is eay to use adhoc Jql for Jira data without having to save a channel preset

JIRA CONFIGURATION

  • Click on Channel button within quick links menu situated on the header

  • Click on existing configuration to edit , or Plus icon button to add new

  • Specify name and baseurl of Jira instance

  • Specify if issues scope is based on Jira filter or a free-form Jql

  • Approach Grid and Deep inspection relevant configuration : Specify which field denotes Story Points. Optionally, supply which field represents remaining story points

GITHUB CONFIGURATION

  • Click on Channel button within quick links menu situated on the header

  • Click on existing configuration to edit , or Plus icon button to add new

  • Specify name and repo reference

  • Use Github guide for issues search criteria

  • Approach Grid and Deep inspection relevant configuration : You can use Labels as a workaround for tracking Story Points; This allows applying iteration planning and tracking; However, Approach Grid can timeline planning and tracking is not dependent on using Story Points.
